Question: How Much Customization Would You Like With Your Algorithms?

Purpose: The purpose of this opinion poll was to investigate how much customization the electronic trading industry, particularly the buy-side, wanted from the algorithms that they used. The question included both broker sponsored and proprietary buy-side algo. It goes without saying that the proprietary shop would want full control but the results are likely to to influence the way vendors and brokers deliver their algorithms. Looks like a strong endorsement for FIXatdl (FIX algorithmic trading definition language) as well.
