SBI Japannext INET X-Stream System is Good to Go
Please rest assured that SBI Japannext has done everything humanly possible to ensure quality of work. Our entire SBI Japannext team along with NASDAQ OMX’s X-stream advance support team will be on standby to respond to any enquiries this week. Please let us know immediately if you detect any issues or unusual behavior of the system.
To manage our members and participants’ expectation of our new INET X-stream system, let me briefly share with you our performance improvement findings:
FIX Protocol (under normal load):
Maximum Message Handling Rate: 40,000 messages/second
Average Latency: 500 microseconds
OUCH Protocol (to be released on January 15, 2013):
Maximum Message Processing Rate: 80,000 messages/second
Average Latency: 100 microseconds
Performance difference of FIX and OUCH protocols arise from payload size (250 and 32 bytes respectively) and some translation cost for FIX protocol.
