PSE Investigating Exchange Trading Halt
The Philippine Stock Exchange (PSE) is investigating the cause of the link disconnections that halted the market for more than eight (8) minutes August 18.
The market was halted at 9:55:13 a.m. and resumed trading at 10:04 a.m.
“We are now investigating all factors to determine the cause of the link disconnections including our internal network. We want to resolve this issue quickly and with certainty that it will not recur,” said PSE President and Chief Executive Officer Val Antonio B. Suarez.
The PSE index closed at 3,534.80, up 32.55 points or 0.93 percent with total value of trades worth P5.15 billion.
