MarketPrizm, a leading provider of market data and trading infrastructure services announces the appointment of Andy Slade as Business DevelopmentDirector for Asia-Pacific (ex-Japan), as the business continues to grow in the region.

Slade has over 20 years’ global experience in financial services software solutions, having held various executive positions in Europe and Asia-Pacific. Based in Singapore, he will have responsibility for sales outside Japan, reporting to Jay Hibbin, MarketPrizm’s Commercial Director.

Prior to MarketPrizm, Andy held a number of senior roles at Dion Global Solutions over a period of seven years, most recently as Managing Director of the Asia-Pacific region.

Previous to this, he was Chief Operating Officer at Managed Information Group and Head of Managed Services at Misys Plc.

Andy’s appointment coincides with MarketPrizm’s continued expansion in Asia, as technology upgrades, market fragmentation and regulatory and monetary policies stimulates regional demand for low latency trading infrastructure and market data solutions.

In Japan, Yoshitaka Ishiwata, CFO of MarketPrizm, leads the sales team locally and will be working closely with Andy Slade on the pan-Asian business strategy and sales execution.
