Alexandre Werno, Executive Vice General Manager, Fortune SG Fund Management

Lyxor Asset Management (“Lyxor”) announces the appointment of Alexandre Werno as Executive Vice General Manager of Fortune SG Fund Management Co., Ltd. (“Fortune SG”), effective March 24th 2014. He replaces Gilbert Tse, who was appointed Head of Lyxor for Asia in March 2013. Based in Shanghai, Alexandre Werno is specifically in charge of the supervision of Mandate and Institutional sales (both domestic and International) and of Risk Control. Prior to this appointment, he was Senior Adviser to the General Manager Fortune SG since May 2013.

Fortune SG is a JV between Fortune Investment (Baosteel Group) and Lyxor Asset Management. Fortune SG has branches in Shanghai, Beijing, Shenzhen and a subsidiary in Hong Kong with RQFII* capabilities. Since its creation in 2003, Fortune SG has become a leading fund management company in China with equity, money market and alternative investment funds.

Fortune SG has built a strong franchise in China equity funds over the years and is now also pioneering in Alternative and Quantitative strategies, strengthening its partnership with Lyxor. In the course of 2014, Fortune SG will diversify its offer and develop new sectorial equity funds and index linked products, propose cross-border innovative solutions and alternative businesses both on the Fund of Hedge Funds and Alternative Managed Accounts.
