JP Morgan Worldwide Securities Services Names Kirit Bhatia Head of Technical Sales for Asia ex-Japan

J.P. Morgan Worldwide Securities Services (“WSS”) has named Kirit Bhatia Head of Technical Sales, Asia ex-Japan, as the firm continues to strengthen its client servicing capabilities and further align its business
with its clients’ strategic growth plans.

Responsible for developing complex, integrated asset servicing solutions for J.P. Morgan’s Asia-based clients, Bhatia will oversee a team comprising experienced specialists across securities lending, collateral management, alternatives, fund services, transition management and transfer agency. Reporting in Asia Pacific to Shaun Parkes, Chief Executive Officer, Asia ex-Japan, J.P. Morgan Worldwide Securities Services and globally to Paul Wilson, International Head of Financing & Markets Products Sales and Relationship Management, Bhatia transferred from J.P. Morgan London, where he held a number of senior sales, product and financial management positions within the firm’s Treasury & Securities Services and Investment Bank
businesses.

Parkes said: “Kirit’s depth of knowledge and experience across our product and sales teams, combined with his proven client focus, will ensure J.P. Morgan continues to lead the way in increasing revenue and mitigating risk for our clients. Kirit and his team will drive the development of innovative, integrated solutions that deliver significant value for our clients, while at the same time providing a high-level strategic advisory service that will help guide our clients through an increasingly complex financial landscape.”

Bhatia’s appointment is a key part of J.P. Morgan Treasury & Securities Services’ (“TSS”) ongoing Asia Pacific growth plans. In 2011, the firm has hired more than 350 financial professionals across sales, product, client service and operations, among others, as part of moves to expand its on-ground presence, enhance its range of market leading products and elevate its client servicing capabilities.
