Citi Appoints Conor Cunningham Asia Head of ETD
Citi has appointed Conor Cunningham as Asia Pacific Head of Exchange Traded Derivatives (ETD). Cunningham will be based in Singapore and will run Citi’s ETD businesses across the region – which includes teams in Tokyo, Seoul, Singapore, Mumbai and Sydney.
Cunningham, who has worked in the industry for 15 years, joins Citi from JP Morgan, where he worked from 2001 and was from 2007 Head of Fixed Income, Futures and Options for Europe, Middle East and Africa. He will report globally to Jerome Kemp, Global Head of Listed Derivatives Sales and Clearing and regionally to Hannah Goodwin, Head of Prime Finance for Asia Pacific.
“Conor has excellent client relationships and brings a track record of running high performance businesses across the derivatives and clearing sectors. This experience and his expertise in financial markets will be great benefit to our clients in the region,” said Jerome Kemp.
“We are seeing strong growth in the region from Asian clients and global clients that are increasingly looking to Asia. Citi’s market leading ETD and OTC clearing services are clear differentiators. Citi is well positioned for further growth in the region under Conor’s leadership in this key area for our clients,” said Hannah Goodwin.
