CESC Announces Board And Senior Executive Appointments

Calvin Tai, Head of Global Clearing (Asia), HKEx –

China Exchanges Services Company Limited (CESC), a joint venture (JV) of Hong Kong Exchanges and Clearing Limited (HKEx), Shanghai Stock Exchange (SSE) and Shenzhen Stock Exchange (SZSE) for the development of financial products and related services, announced today that it has appointed Mao Zhirong, a Director of CESC and Head of Mainland Development at HKEx, to replace Bryan Chan as Chief Executive of CESC and Sanly Ho, HKEx’s Head of Derivatives Trading, to serve as a Director of CESC with effect from 1 August 2014.

Mr Chan, who is also HKEx’s Co-head of Equities, Fixed Income and Currency, has resigned from his CESC roles with effect from 1 August 2014.

CESC wishes to express its sincere gratitude to Mr Chan for his contributions and dedication, and welcomes Mr Mao as its new Chief Executive and Mr Ho as its new Director.
